Join us at Jumpstart Automotive Group, a division of Hearst Magazines.

In this role as the Ad Operations Manager, you will be in charge of the publisher ad platform tag management and the trafficking of digital ad campaigns for Jumpstart's network of web and mobile properties. You will manage the day-to-day contextual and behavioral ad trafficking and be the primary technical resource for publishers. This role requires very strong client communication skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues. Specific responsibilities include:
 Support Publisher team by kicking off implementation for new ad products and partner relationships
 QA and test new creatives on publisher sites to ensure full compatibility
 Proactively troubleshoot delivery and technical issues to ensure revenue recognition. Field and coordinate resolution of partner initiated issues / escalations
 Train and manage a team of traffickers in the timely execution of campaigns.
 Keep current on new technologies, products, and emerging trends in the online advertising industry. Help implement mobile and video solutions to the latest standards
 Work with product and sales teams and provide consultation on custom and/or new projects and products, and ensure initiatives can be implemented using existing technical resources (e.g. DFP, DFA, Audience Science, Blue Kai, YieldEx)
 Work with 3rd party vendors (DoubleClick, EyeWonder, Pointroll, etc.) to test and implement new ad types with each partner
 Maintain documentation for best practices, business processes and training to be used by partners and internal resources
 Communicate technical issues (both verbal and written) in a manner that is easy for a non-technical audience to understand.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
 Strong client communication skills and positive team player
 3+ years in Online Advertising with a strong working knowledge of DFP5/6 and ideally, DFA
 Mobile and Video ad serving knowledge is a must
 Contextual and Behavioral knowledge is a must
 Working knowledge of HTML, XML, Macromedia Flash, JavaScript, Internet file formats and web coding concepts.
 Experience with Rich Media Technology.
 Creative problem solver, self-directed and proactive
 Detailed oriented with ability to prioritize, deadline driven
 BA/BS in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Science or equivalent experience in Internet industry, project management, or technical production environment
